KPD series electric flat cars are low-voltage rail powered electric flat cars. Its working principle is to reduce the voltage of 380V power supply (three-phase or single-phase) to 36V safe voltage through the ground control step-down system. The power is fed to the conductor rail (the conductor rail is also used as the running track of the flat car), and the low-voltage power is sent to the step-up transformer on the car through the conductive device of the flat car, which is boosted to 380V to drive the three-phase or single-phase capacitor motor to drive the flat car to run. The advantage of KPD series electric flat car is that it is not only safe without cables, but also not afraid of scalding, smashing, and blocking cross transportation. It is easy to realize remote control and automation. It can drive on curves and roundabouts. The number of step-down transformers can be appropriately increased without being limited by the running distance of flat car, which greatly facilitates the plane layout of transportation in the plant area
